Ikea Slipcovers
Ikea slipcovers, also known as Ektorp slipcovers, are part of a huge and famous Swedish line of household furnishings offered worldwide. IKEA, the company name is an acronym based on the founders name (who is possibly the worlds richest entrepreneur), the name of his family farm and his home village (Ingvar Kamprad, Elmtaryd, Agunnaryd). Ektorp is only one of their unusual product names, based on a unique naming system they invented. For example, Klippan, another well known name in furniture and slipcovers is the name of a place in Sweden. All of the upholstered furniture, coffee tables, rattan furniture, bookshelves, etc., that the company makes receive Swedish place names. All children's items are named for mammals, birds and adjectives. All materials and curtains are given women's names and so forth. With all the trouble Ikea goes to in creating names, having an extremely good reputation for quality, keeping that quality affordably low priced and even being environmentally active, you can only imagine how delighted you will be with one of their Ikea slipcovers.
